Our program is offered at FIU Downtown on Brickell, an epicenter of international business. Students in the DBA program will learn to apply advanced business theory, analytics, and finely-honed research and quantitative skills.

Explore the Hospitality Concentration

Hospitality is one of the world’s largest industries. The Chapman Graduate School of Business, together with the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, are offering a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a Hospitality Concentration.

This degree will provide you with the foundation to conduct both academic and industry research. This foundation ranges from hospitality theory, qualitative and quantitative research methods, organizational behavior and theory to research design as well as data collection and analysis. Under the guidance and mentorship of our expert faculty, you can leverage these new skills and tools, together with your executive experience, to advance in your current career, become an independent consultant, or join the ranks of hospitality professors. The courses related to this concentration are:

  • Philosophy, Fundamentals and Theories in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Social Responsibility and Sustainability in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Hospitality Higher Education Teaching and Training Practices
  • Contemporary Issues in Hospitality and Tourism Management

The Hospitality concentration only begins in the Spring term.
