Professional Activities

Jong Lee joined the FIU Business in 2023. He received his Ph.D. (Computers and Information Systems) from the Simon Business School, University of Rochester. His research interests include platform strategy, healthcare technology and operations, and the socioeconomic impact of AI Applications. His research primarily employs quantitative and technical methods, including causal inference, applied economics and machine learning. 

Dr. Lee's work has been published in Information Systems Research and European Journal of Operational Research, and has been presented at Information Systems and healthcare conferences and seminars, including CIST, ICIS, and CHITA, as well as at Duke University School of Medicine's Health Informatics Research Seminar Series.

His research has earned several recognition, including the CIBER research award, Best Paper Award in Track, and being a finalist for the Best Paper Award at the International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS) 2024.
