Professional Activities

Jong Lee joined the FIU Business in 2023. He received his Ph.D. (Computers and Information Systems) from the Simon Business School, University of Rochester. His research interests include platform strategy, health information technology and economics, and AI Applications. His research primarily employs quantitative and technical methods, including causal inference, applied economics, applied machine learning, and natural language processing. 

His work has been presented at prestigious Information Systems and healthcare conferences and seminars, including CIST, ICIS, and CHITA, as well as at the Duke University School of Medicine's Health Informatics Research Seminar Series.

His research has earned recognition, including the CIBER research award, Best Paper Award in Track, and being a finalist for the Best Paper Award at the International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS).
