Message from the Dean
The 2022 – 2023 academic year brought a new sense of community to Florida International University’s College of Business (FIU Business).
The campus was buzzing again and our students, faculty, staff, alumni and other friends in the community were fully engaged with one another.
The strengths of our faculty and students continue to be shown in competition wins, in rankings and in other ways in 2022 – 2023. Our four-year undergraduate student graduation rate rose to nearly 63.2%, up from 29% in 2016. Our undergraduate international business program was ranked No. 2 by U.S. News & World Report for the fourth consecutive year. U.S. News also ranked our international MBA program at No. 4, up from No. 5 the year before. And FIU Business was ranked No. 1 in the world for real estate research productivity by the Journal of Real Estate Literature for the third year in a row.
