Professional Activities
Hyeyoung Hah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Florida International University. Her research interests lie in the effect of digital innovation on various performance measures in the contexts of healthcare, finance, e-commerce and mobile platform. Her research was a recipient of the best paper runner-up award at ICIS in 2012, the most prestigious IS conference. Recently, her research was nominated for the best paper awards at Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-55) in 2022.
She has developed and taught data visualization course with an extensive focus on Tableau in the graduate programs to prepare students for identifying insights and making data-driven decisions. Her course was a recipient of the best course award in ISBA in 2023.
She is currently serving as an ad-hoc reviewer of prestigious journals such as MISQ, JAIS and JMIR and performing roles of associate editor, program committee, program co-chair and reviewers for IS conferences such as ICIS, CIST, WITS and HICSS.
