Professional Activities

Dora Cortinas is a global C-suite leader featured in Hispanic Executive Magazine in 2012. She sits on the ATOM Board at Florida International University and teaches Information Management, Data and Analytics in the PMBA and a digital course for the Honors College at FIU. She is also known for being a digital transformation leader and global leader. Dora Cortinas has worked across industries as a global executive at Keurig Dr Pepper, Brinker International, Michael’s Crafts, Burger King and AutoNation.   She has worked internationally in Miami, Dallas, South America and Europe and has managed teams of up to 500 team members.

As CIO at Brinker International she transformed the IT team to be stronger business partners by addressing business challenges through technology solutions.  She spearheaded the transformation of IT's digital capabilities at record pace at Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits (SGWS) without business disruption creating a new revenue stream of over $1B via a new digital route to market.
