Professional Activities

Anastasios (Tasos) Moysidis is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Finance at Florida International University. He started teaching at FIU in the fall of 1991 initially as an adjunct professor and joined as a full-time faculty in the fall of 2010. Prior to joining FIU as a full-time faculty, he gained more than twenty-five years of broad financial experience at several well-branded global companies in the travel and banking industries. He has an extensive background in financial management and analysis, credit administration, external financing, financial planning and budgets, cash management, international financial management, reporting and documentation and risk management.

Professor Moysidis has developed several executive and professional education programs, such as credit and risk management, financial management for non-financial managers, sales training, and treasury management. He is very active in the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), teaching exam-review courses for the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP/CCM) designation. He has also served as a guest speaker to several organizations on various financial topics.

He holds a master’s degree in finance, two certificates in banking, the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), and he has successfully completed PhD coursework in economics and finance. In addition, professor Moysidis has a wide experience in all course modalities, and he has earned certifications in Remote Teaching, Certified Hybrid and Online Live Instruction.
