- What kind of undergraduate degree must I have to qualify for this program?
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. Students in the MSM program have degrees in various fields and do not need a marketing or business degree to apply.
- Do I include my certified transcripts with the application?
FIU requires that official transcripts are sent in directly by each college or university you attended. For transcripts to be deemed official, they must be sent directly from the school you attended with the school’s seal in a closed envelope.
For degrees earned from FIU, there is no need to have transcripts sent. If you attended a university outside the U.S. and the transcripts are not in English, they must be translated by a certified translator. The translation and an official copy of the transcripts must be submitted.
- Who is required to submit the TOEFL?
Applicants whose native language is not English and who did not obtain a degree in an English speaking institution need to take the TOEFL exam. They will need to score at least 550 on the paper-based, 213 on the computer-based, 80 on the internet-based test, or an equivalent score on a comparable examination. - How many classes do I need to take in order to complete the MSM program?
Students must complete ten 3-credit classes, a total of 30 credits, in order to graduate.
- Can I prolong the MSM program for more than 16 months?

Students must remain with their cohort throughout the entire sequence until the program is concluded to assist with networking and in building long-lasting business relationships.
