Professional Activities
Dr. Usman's research mainly focuses on consumer psychology and behavior in the domain of consumer-tech interactions (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Metaverse), and he is also interested in studying the effect of negatively valanced emotions on consumers' decision-making. Dr. Usman serves as a reviewer for leading marketing conferences and also serves as a reviewer for academic journals in marketing and social psychology.Outside of work, Dr. Usman is interested in playing and watching Football (read: soccer) and playing video games.
