ATOM Pink Tank Program

BankUnited

Empowering the Next Generation of STEM Leaders!

In partnership with BankUnited, FIU Business launched its inaugural "Pink Tank Program," led by the directors of the ATOM Think Tank; a technology-focused organization run by faculty from the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA)!

The ATOM Pink Tank is a 6-month leadership development program for students pursuing STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers, with the goal to help them launch out and navigate this increasingly competitive field. Students strengthen technical and leadership skills as they work on special projects geared towards designing solutions to real-world business challenges, while being mentored by senior-level STEM business executives.

Reducing the Gender Gap in STEM!

The Pink Tank program creates awareness of the unique challenges that exist in this male-dominated STEM field, encouraging women to pursue opportunities in STEM, dream bigger, overcome self-doubt, and relentlessly go after their career aspirations.

At the end of the program, students compete in a hackathon-style challenge, with the chance to win scholarship awards, applied towards their tuition.
