Minor in Business

 Open to Non-business majors and fully online students only

A business minor gives you the freedom to pursue a wider set of career paths. Strong business knowledge is a valued career asset, regardless of your chosen profession. Every firm, agency or nonprofit organization is in the business of delivering successful results. If you’re pursuing a non-business major, enhance your career success with a valuable understanding of fundamental business issues.

Required Courses

To earn the business minor, the following five courses (15 credit hours) are required. Students must earn a grade of "C" or higher in each course to earn the minor designation.

  • ACG 3024 Accounting for Managers and Investors
  • FIN 3005 Introduction to Business Finance
  • ISM 3012 Introduction to Decision Sciences and Information Systems
  • MAN 3022 Introduction to Management
  • MAR 3024 Principles of Marketing
