ATOM x AIS Hackathon Challenge

ATOM x AIS Hackathon Challenge

FIU's ATOM x AIS Hackathon Challenge provides students with an opportunity to showcase how Information Systems can positively impact the world. Participants will propose innovative solutions to a specific problem and can choose to code their projects in any programming language, using any platform, and deploying on any device.

This two-day challenge encourages students to form teams and collaborate intensively to develop their projects. Teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges for a chance to win stipend awards that can be applied towards their tuition. Participants are encouraged to be creative and think outside the box in order to develop unique solutions to the identified problems.

Let's Hackathon!

FIU ATOM x AIS AI Hackathon Challenge invites students to explore the transformative power of Information Systems in creating a better world. This is a fantastic opportunity for teams to propose innovative IS/IT-centered solutions that address pressing problems or opportunities tied to one of the 17 UN sustainable development goals.

Participants are encouraged to think creatively as they design solutions that can operate on any platform, utilize various programming languages, and be deployed across different device environments. We particularly welcome projects that integrate IoT solutions.

Embrace this chance to think outside the box and collaborate with your peers, as you work towards developing impactful solutions that can make a meaningful difference in our communities.

To qualify for the competition, students are required to form a team consisting of 2 to 4 members. Each team must create and submit a PowerPoint presentation that serves as a pitch tied to the 17 UN sustainable development goals.
