About DSAB
The Dean’s Student Advisory Board (DSAB) is the highest-level student leadership body within FIU Business and serves as the umbrella organization for all business student organizations.
DSAB provides strategic oversight, alignment, and collaboration to ensure that student organizations operate in support of the Dean’s vision and the College’s strategic priorities. Through this structure, DSAB strengthens unity across organizations while maintaining a shared commitment to excellence, professionalism, and impact. Membership on DSAB reflects a high standard of leadership, initiative, and dedication to the advancement of FIU Business.
Qualifications
Membership on the Dean’s Student Advisory Board is reserved for students who demonstrate leadership excellence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the advancement of FIU Business.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate business student (minimum 12 credit hours)
- Have completed at least one academic term at FIU
- Be in good academic and conduct standing with the University
- Demonstrate a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Be willing to dedicate 4–5 hours per week to DSAB responsibilities

To develop the leaders of tomorrow by cultivating strategic relationships, strengthening business student organizations, participating in meaningful service opportunities, and advancing student engagement across FIU Business.

To serve as the central leadership body that represents and unifies FIU Business students while growing connections within our College, University, and beyond.
