Professional Activities
Anna Pietraszek, Ph.D. serves as the Director of the Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center at the College of Business at Florida International University (FIU). In this role, she leads the strategic growth and impact of the Center, builds high-level industry and institutional partnerships, and cultivates an environment that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and business success. She is deeply committed to developing a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and empowering students to build meaningful ventures and global careers.
Dr. Pietraszek is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Marketing and Logistics at FIU’s College of Business, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses that integrate marketing fundamentals, luxury and brand strategy, social media and digital engagement, global management practices, market segmentation, and entrepreneurship. Her pedagogy blends academic rigor with applied learning, professional development, and personal brand strategy, preparing students to succeed in highly competitive international environments.
She brings expertise in luxury marketing, experiential branding, and hospitality strategy, bridging academia and industry through applied research and real-world projects. Dr. Pietraszek is a case study author and impact contributor for both Harvard Business Publishing and Ivey Publishing, developing teaching cases that explore innovation, leadership, and transformation across global luxury, hospitality, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
She co-designed and co-created two flagship experiential learning initiatives: the Luxury Incubator Project for the MBA Program and Experiential Immersion (Thailand) for the Faculty Professional Development Program, both emphasizing hands-on learning, cross-cultural immersion, and close collaboration with industry leaders.
In recognition of her influence and impact, the International Hospitality Institute named Dr. Pietraszek among the Top 100 Most Powerful People in U.S. Hospitality (2022) and the 30 Most Influential Educators (2023), recognizing her as a change-maker at the intersection of education, entrepreneurship, and the global luxury industry.
