Tala Mirzaei

Tala Mirzaei researches the intersection of information systems and health informatics, focusing on the impact of health-information technology on the performance of health systems, improving the quality and efficiency of the delivery of care, and enhancing the engagement of patients in managing their care. Mirzaei’s work appears in premier journals, and she is a reviewer for a variety of journals and conferences in the information systems and health informatics communities. She has served as associate editor for the Electronic Commerce Research journal and International Conference on Information Systems – health informatics track. Mirzaei is a board member of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society South Florida Chapter. She earned a PhD in Information Systems from the University of North Carolina and a Master in Applied Statistics from the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
