Pouyan Esmaeil Zadeh has established a line of research at the juncture of information systems and health informatics. Zadeh’s research efforts focus on the impact of health information technology on the performance of health systems, improving the quality and efficiency of care delivery, and enhancing the engagement of patients in managing their care. In addition, he is also interested relevant areas, including Nonfungible Tokens (NFTs), blockchain-based cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, health app development, and the adoption of cryptocurrencies by companies and individuals. Zadeh regularly discusses new ideas about blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs with local media channels in South Florida. He holds a PhD in Management from the University Putra Malaysia, an MBA from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Islamic Azad University in Iran.
