Master of Science in Information Systems
The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program provides more than just the technical skills needed to work in IT, cybersecurity, business analytics, and other relevant fields. It provides the business knowledge and skills required to qualify for high-level management roles within a company.
Our MSIS program is designed with guidance from some of the best IS professionals and CIOs in South Florida and taught by world-renowned faculty. It is a STEM-designated program with three different tracks:
12-Month Accelerated MSIS Program
14-Month Business Analytics Track
14-Month Business Cybersecurity Track
Program Highlights
- Hybrid Format– Combination of weekend and online courses.
- Integrated Curriculum– To develop both technical and IS management skills, including management of the IS function, database management, systems analysis and design, project management, business process design, information security management and business analytics.
- Critical knowledge and skills spanning .Net, SAP, Microsoft Project, SQL Server, UML, XML, Rapidminer, Tableau, R, Python, Blockchain, security and ethical hacking virtual labs, and other platforms.
- STEM Program– Students in our program may qualify for CPT, as well as the OPT 24-month extension.
- Faculty internationally renowned for research in business intelligence, databases, project management, knowledge management, globalization, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.
- Experiential Learning Opportunities– Work with the latest IS applications and work on real-world projects with our partner companies through the ATOM Think Tank.
- No Technical Undergraduate Degree Required– Open to students from a variety of undergraduate degree programs (technical and non-technical)
