In an ever-expanding cyber threat landscape, companies are looking for highly prepared leaders with a combination of technical, business, and soft skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication. In response to this demand, FIU Business offers an MBA in Cybersecurity Risk Management program. Students gain the broad spectrum of the skills provided in MBA programs (finance, accounting, competitive strategy, negotiation, etc.) as well as a specialized focus on cybersecurity strategies and tactics to prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity attacks.
This 16-month STEM-designated program prepares you to become a strategic thinker who can effectively bridge gaps between business needs, security policies, technologies, and human behaviors. As a result of your education, you will be equipped with the skills to fulfill roles like chief information security officer (CISO), security architect, information systems security manager, cyber policy and strategy planner, IT investment/portfolio manager and more.
