With over 30 years of experience in both industry and academia, Sandeep Puri is a seasoned expert in Sales and Marketing. He currently serves as a Professor of Marketing and Academic Program Director, International Master in Business Administration at the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. His career includes significant roles at IMT Ghaziabad, Trident, and Novartis in India, where he honed his expertise in strategic marketing and leadership.

Sandeep Puri has made notable scholarly contributions, with publications in esteemed outlets such as the Harvard Business Review and the European Journal of Marketing. His cases have been featured by leading institutions, including Ivey Publishing, WDI Publishing (University of Michigan), and IMD, Lausanne. He has been honored with the Ivey Publishing Best Seller Case Award for three consecutive years (2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24). Additionally, he secured 3rd prize in the prestigious 2022 John Molson MBA International Case Competition, further cementing his standing in the academic community. Notably, he is the first Asian to surpass 100 publications with Harvard Business Publishing, a distinction that underscores his commitment to advancing marketing education.

Beyond case studies, Sandeep Puri has disseminated his research and insights through various magazines, newspapers, and international journals. His book on Sales and Distribution Management, co-authored with Still, Cundiff, and Govoni, is a cornerstone text published by Pearson, and he has edited ten additional books.

As a visiting faculty member, Sandeep Puri has imparted his knowledge at several distinguished business schools, including S P Jain-Singapore, Fachhochschule Vorarlberg-Austria, Varna University of Management-Bulgaria, IMT-Dubai, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Vishakhapatnam, Great Lakes, and Jagdish Sheth School of Management in India.

He is also actively engaged in faculty development programs (FDPs) focused on case writing and teaching, as well as management development programs (MDPs) for leading organizations such as Accenture, Republic Cement, Apollo Tyres, Dominos, Reckitt Benckiser, Times of India, and EXL. Sandeep Puri  continues to shape the future of marketing education and practice, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
