Jake Harris
Jake Harris is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Harris Bay, a privately held private equity real estate firm engaged in development, investment, management and leasing of office, retail, residential, multi-family and mixed-use properties. He brings 17+ years of experience in real estate, construction and investment management. Over the past 5 years, Harris Bay has managed, developed or acquired $50+ million in projects and over $200M in the development pipeline across 26 states. Including the Historic Commerce Building, Essex Modern City, Fest Block buildings, 9th St Cathedral, Water St Building and Sunglo Urban Homes to list a few.
Over the few years, Harris Bay has been listed as one of the most active developers in San Antonio. In 2017 being awarded “land transaction” of the year award for the Essex Modern City project.
Jake Harris has been a featured speaker for IMN, Bisnow, Family Office Super Summit, SA Business Journal, Mayor’s Housing Summit, Bay Area Investor Association, Rotary International and many others. He is a frequent podcast guest and his talks include topics of Opportunity Zones, Infill development, scaling a nationwide flip business, and systems for controlling construction cost.
Mr. Harris is a CCIM candidate, he earned a Master’s degree in International Real Estate from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the Rasmussen College. He is a member of Urban Land Institute, Accredited Congress of New Urbanism (CNU-A) city-builder, and a licensed Broker in California.
