Andres Korda is a Georgetown graduate in Business who started real estate as an investor in the early 2000’s and after realizing the opportunity in the space, decided to join forces with Enrique Teran and incubate the Avanti Way innovative model at the Babson Entrepreneurship MBA Program, complementing the technology aspect with a community like environment to create and service a new breed of real estate agents they now call Agentpreneurs.
As one of the founders of Avanti Way, Andres has passionately dedicated his efforts over the last years to transform the real estate industry by providing a technology, education, and support driven ecosystem that allows agents to accelerate their business and upgrade the complete customer experience.
Avanti Way, recognized in 2017 as one of the Top 50 Brokers of Florida by the United States Congress. In 2016 was named the 3rd Fastest Growing Company in South Florida and the 2nd company for new agent intake. Avanti Way has already sold over $2 billion in real estate and counts with around 500 agents and 5 offices between Miami Dade and Broward counties. The company was a finalist at the Inman Innovators Awards in 2016. As part of its alliance with TECHO, since 2015 its agents donated more than 20 homes to unprivileged communities in Latin America.
Andres also co-owns a real estate property management firm called Propfolio with about 400 investment properties under management and a portfolio currently valued a $350 million, for which the company has developed proprietary technology that provides investors with the ability to keep track of their assets and measure their performance on demand.
In March 2016, Andres and his partner won the Real Estate Leaders and Achievers Award as Residential Broker. This recognition is given by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and spotlights the real estate profession and those who have achieved notable success in their respective fields while also being leaders in the community. They also co-host the Agentpreneur Show where agents and real estate professionals get insights on how to tackle today’s dynamic landscape.
Andres was later honored by the South Florida Business Journal as one of its “40 under 40” and then recently featured as one of South Florida’s “Power Leaders” for 2017, a list that highlights the most influential business executives from across the region’s public and private sectors. He has been part of the lineup of speakers at several conferences including the Real Estate Connect events in San Francisco, New York, and Miami.
