Adriana Herrera, MA, MBA, CPA has dedicated 19 years of her career to accounting and financial services. She is a highly motivated, analytical executive finance leader with a broad base of progressive financial management, analysis, and reporting experience in both corporate and public accounting environments, predominantly serving clients in the health care industry. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Finance for Jackson Health System (JHS) in Miami, FL.
Her role provides strategic oversight to all five of the JHS facilities, assists and advises the Chief Financial Officer in implementing hospital policies and strategic business plans to achieve objectives established by the Public Health Trust, as well as, provides effective leadership to the for the Controller's Office, Treasury Management, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Revenue Cycle. In addition to her role at Jackson Health System, she has extensive experience successfully serving in management, consultant and advisory roles in a variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors.
Ms. Herrera received her Bachelor and Master of Accounting from Florida International University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida and holds a Negotiation Mastery Certificate from Harvard University.
