Minor in Entrepreneurship

 Open to non-business majors and fully online students only

No matter your career path, entrepreneurial expertise improves your ability to plan intelligently; understand and convey your true value to employers more clearly; react to changing conditions and challenges more nimbly; and achieve the goals you set more successfully.

Required Courses

To be admitted to the Entrepreneurship minor, student must be fully admitted to their major in another college and must have a 2.50 GPA or higher. Students must complete the following four courses at FIU and must earn a grade of “C” or better.

Note: MIB faculty highly recommends students take ENT4113, GEB4110, MAN3022, and MAN4802 to fulfill the minor.

  • ENT4113 Entrepreneurship: New Business Development
  • GEB4110 Writing the Business Plan
  • MAN4802 Small Business Management
  • AMH4373 Entrepreneurs in the US
  • AMH4375 Technology and American Society
