Advising
Our advising team is dedicated to your success and safety. We want to assure you that our services remain operational.
Academic Advising
To safeguard the health and well-being of our FIU community, the University transitioned to remote advising effective Monday, March 16th, and will continue to do so until further notice. Remote advising includes both telephone and/or online meetings using Zoom technology. Advisors will continue to open appointments each Friday afternoon and will contact you by the designated method at the time of your appointment.

If you are participating in a telephone appointment, please note it is very important that you provide a callback number to ensure our ability to reach you. Gain the knowledge and skills you'll need to enter the fields of public, private sector, corporate and governmental accounting, or to pursue advanced degrees in accounting, business or law. For public accounting, you'll also need to pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination, which in Florida requires 30 credit hours beyond the Bachelor of Accounting degree.

To provide greater international experience to our undergraduate students, the FIU College of Business is partnering with 30 respected institutions around the world to offer undergraduates a dual degree program. Students completing their studies at FIU will receive a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from FIU, while also earning the dual degree from their home institution.

Our BBA Online program allows students to pursue undergraduate degree studies from the convenience of their home, office or anywhere with an internet connection. Five of our seven undergraduate BBA majors are available online: Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Logistics and Management.
