Qualifications

All applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Good standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university
  • Four years of professional work experience
  • A grade point average of 3.0 or better based on upper-divsion coursework. Applicants with less than a 3.0 may be considered under special circumstances.
  • Official transcripts from all previously-attended universities (undergraduate and graduate) in an envelope sealed by the degree-granting institution(s).
  • Official proof of degree—a copy of the original diploma is required if the degree is not posted on the official transcript.
  • For international transcripts needing translation, applicants must request two sets of transcripts: one for the translation agency and another one for us.

To apply:

  • Complete the online graduate programs admissions form, including $30 application fee.
  • Have official transcripts, proof of degree, relevant test scores, and other documentation sent to the Chapman Graduate School Admissions Office.
  • Submit a current resume of your professional experience (four years of work experience are required).
  • Provide a statement of purpose—a one-page essay describing your professional goals and reasons for pursuing a master’s degree at Florida International University.
  • Provide two letters of recommendation. If you would like, you can provide your references with the recommendation letter format we have prepared for this purpose.
