Professional Activities

Andrew Yap is an Assistant Teaching Professor in FIU’s Department of Marketing and Logistics.  Professor Yap has been teaching at FIU since 1997 and has taught more than 28 different courses combined for both the marketing and management departments.

During 2019, Professor Yap served as an inaugural faculty member who assisted with designing and building the FIU Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MSLSCM) program.  He also created and has been teaching the SCM 6216 (Logistics Strategy) capstone course in both hybrid and fully online formats since the start of the MSLSCM program at FIU. 

On a regular basis, Professor Yap teaches courses in Logistics Strategy and Marketing Strategy and also teaches Marketing Management courses for both business and non-business majors.  Since 1999, Professor Yap has published numerous textbook instructor manuals, student study guides, test banks, and PowerPoint presentations for Wessex Publishing, Pearson Publishing, and McGraw-Hill Publishing.

Professor Yap is dedicated to providing students with the knowledge, tools, and experience necessary to succeed in today’s competitive business world where a competitive edge has become a requirement for success.
