Professional Activities

Dora Cortinas is a global C-suite leader featured in Hispanic Executive Magazine in 2012. She sits on the ATOM Board at Florida International University and teaches Information Management and Data and Analytics in the PMBA at FIU. She is also known for being a change agent, digital transformation leader, and global leader. Dora Cortinas has worked across industries as a global executive and change agent at Keurig Dr pepper, Brinker International, Michael’s Crafts, Burger King and AutoNation.   She has worked internationally – in Miami, Dallas, South America and Europe – and has managed teams of up to 500 team members.

During her role at Brinker International as CIO, she transformed the IT team to be stronger business partners by addressing business challenges through technology solutions.  She spearheaded the transformation of IT's digital capabilites at record industry pace at SGWS, without business disruption, enabling revenues over $1B via a new digital route to market.
