Project Management Certificate Program for Public Sector Organizations

Project management has become the world's most sought—after skill set. As governmental environments become more complex, organizations are challenged with addressing a seemingly unlimited supply of new projects.

Project management is not just about timelines and deliverables; it is also about cost control, reputation, stability, the value and quality of services, and most importantly, ongoing improvement. In today's competitive environment, organizations must be able to deliver the benefits of successful projects more cost-effectively and without sacrificing quality and reputation.

As the demand for government and NGO services become greater and more complex and the nature of work continues to change, there is an increasing need and interest to train teams in project management practices. In many public organizations, however, the term “project management” evokes images of highly specialized private sector project professionals working in project-based industries such as engineering, power, pharmaceuticals, and tech companies. However, this is not the case. Project management, is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements across all industries and organization types.
