Change Management Certificate Program Frequently Asked Questions

FIU Executive Education offers non-credit certificate programs that allow business professionals to enhance their professional development. Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a digital certificate from FIU Executive Education at the College of Business. The program contains assessments, including required readings and quizzes that must be successfully completed in order to earn the certificate.

There are no requirements or prerequisites that must be met before taking this program. This includes test scores, transcripts and GPA requirements.

Approximately 4 hours per week. Please refer to our sample schedule provided in the Schedule & Registration tab.

You may register for all FIU Executive Education programs directly from our website, https://business.fiu.edu/executive-education/.

FIU Executive Education does not charge application fees.

FIU Executive Education are continuing professional education programs and as such do not award college credits and may not be taken as part of an FIU academic program. In addition, you will not need to apply through the university as a whole. A program taken through our office will not appear on MyFIU and will not appear on your transcript. FIU Executive Education participants are not official FIU nor are they issued a “Panther ID” number or Student ID.

International attendees are welcome to enhance their professional development by participating in FIU Executive Education programs. Program modalities are conveniently set to fit the schedules of busy professionals. Programs are typically delivered either live/virtual (cohort) synchronous or fully online (self-paced) asynchronous. We may also offer in-person programs. Please refer to each program’s Delivery Method listed on the program’s home page.

Student Visas: Continuing professional education programs are non-credit and non-degree programs; therefore, they do not qualify for US student visas. To attend in-person programs, international participants usually need tourist visa. When necessary, our office may present an official letter from FIU to confirmed participants which that may be used in support for obtaining a tourist visa.

The program coordinator (PC) is your primary point of contact for any program-related issues/concerns. Communication can be through phone, email or through the Canvas Learning Management System. The PC will help participants with areas such as registration, payments, invoices and certificates. The PC will also assist with other issues that may arise by either serving as a liaison or directing the participant to the appropriate contact. Also, the PC will provide administrative support for the program. Successful completion of the program is contingent upon completing all program assignments, including readings and quizzes. The program operates on a pass-fail basis and no grades are assigned. Successful completion of the program is contingent upon a 70% average on all program quizzes. The quizzes are based on the readings and exercises covered in each section of the program and are utilized to gauge a participant’s understanding of the material.

Should you fail to meet the performance requirement for the program, then you may discuss your situation with the program coordinator as soon as possible. If there are special circumstances, a participant may be allowed to retake a program at a discounted price.
