Professional MBA Online Program Scholarship
A limited number of $5,000 scholarships will be granted for the program's Spring B (March) 2025 cohort. To be considered, your application must be submitted no later than Friday, February 28.

Program Scholarship – Up to $10,000
We are committed to the success of our students in the PMBA Online Program. Therefore, we offer unique performance-based scholarships where eligible students can get up to $10,000 in funding. The vast majority of the PMBA Online students receive some scholarship funding to further their education. Please note that the scholarship is non-transferrable. In addition, any newly admitted student transferring in more than 6 credits, internally or externally, is ineligible for the scholarship.
How does the scholarship work?
Eligible students who are in good standing, holding a 3.0 GPA or above, at their 10th course in the program can receive between $3,000 and $10,000 in scholarship funding. Awards vary depending on:

- The student’s GPA at their 10th course
- The competitiveness of the cohort’s GPAs and the class rankings
- The total number of students in the cohort that qualify for the program scholarship

Revisions or cancellations may result from changes to your FAFSA, changes in your admission status, changes in enrollment, classification, academic progress, state residency, and changes in the availability of funds or receipt of other awards. Federal student aid may be adjusted because of the posting of this scholarship. The Financial Aid Office will send a revised letter should any adjustment take place.
How to apply
Eligible students are automatically considered upon enrollment in their 10th course. However, you will be prompted to fill out an official application located at the FIU Academic Works Scholarship Page and will be awarded after grades have posted. The scholarship will be issued for the semester in which the 10th course was completed. Some VISA statuses may not be eligible; please reach out to us at PMBAOnline@fiu.edu for more information.
Scholarships & Funding Resources
There are a number of scholarship opportunities provided through the generosity of both individuals and corporations. Most scholarships are awarded in the summer for the following academic year.
Scholarship award will vary in amount, depending on the scholarship, the qualifications of the recipient, and the number of qualified applicants. To be eligible to apply for scholarships, applicants must be seeking a degree in a program offered within the college.
