Hollo School of Real Estate

Welcome to Real Estate at Florida International University (FIU). The unique global real estate profile of Miami and South Florida sets the stage for debate and dialogue on the place of real estate within society domestically and globally. Our program empowers our real estate students to excel in a fast paced competitive real estate business environment.

FIU is one of fewer than 75 universities in the United States that offers an undergraduate major in real estate. Students often work in real estate while enrolled and can benefit from FIU’s excellent relations within the industry. FIU is also one of less than about 20 universities in North America that offer a graduate program in real estate a Masters in Science in International Real Estate, MSIRE. The MSIRE program uniquely offers a combination of face to face and live internet classes offering flexibility to our students whom many are busy professionals.

Florida International University’s College of Business Administration and its faculty are recognized internationally as leaders in the production and dissemination of real estate knowledge and are shaping this debate. In fact, the Hollo School of Real Estate at FIU is “ranked #1 in USA and #1 Globally” for Real Estate Research. The group of FIU faculty members associated with the Jerome Bain Real Estate Institute has been recognized as being in the "Top 20" in Real Estate Research.

In addition, Dr. Hardin is listed as a member of the real estate research "Hall of Fame" over the last thirty-five years.
