Gain the knowledge and skills you'll need to enter the fields of public, private sector, corporate and governmental accounting, or to pursue advanced degrees in accounting, business or law. For public accounting, you'll also need to pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination, which in Florida requires 30 credit hours beyond the Bachelor of Accounting degree.

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree prepares graduates to think critically, solve problems and lead with confidence. This broad-based program teaches important business fundamentals across environments and industries both in the U.S. and globally. You'll learn how goods and services are produced, financed and marketed; the impact of external forces on business success; basics of accounting and quantitative methods, plus an introduction to organizational theory and communication and leadership decision-making.

Our BBA Online program allows students to pursue undergraduate degree studies from the convenience of their home, office or anywhere with an internet connection. Five undergraduate BBA majors are available online: Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Logistics and Management.

To provide greater international experience to our undergraduate students, the FIU College of Business is partnering with 30 respected institutions around the world to offer undergraduates a dual degree program. Students completing their studies at FIU will receive a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from FIU, while also earning the dual degree from their home institution.

Open to all non-business majors and fully online students. Business minor programs help students with non-business majors gain valuable business understanding to enhance their undergraduate learning experience. The college offers three business minors— business, entrepreneurship, or marketing.

Open to all non-Bachelor in Business Administration in Business Analytics students. As public and private organizations house increasing data, a professional’s ability to understand and apply qualitative techniques and tools is valued far beyond traditional areas of accounting and finance. The Business Analytics minor is an opportunity for students across disciplines to complement their major with skills in this fast-growing and important field.

Open to non-business majors and fully online students only. No matter your career path, entrepreneurial expertise improves your ability to plan intelligently; understand and convey your true value to employers more clearly; react to changing conditions and challenges more nimbly; and achieve the goals you set more successfully.

Open to all students except those majoring in Marketing or pursuing any certificate offered by the Department of Marketing and Logistics. Fundamental understanding of the customer is a critical skill and enhances every career professional’s value, regardless of their profession or organization. Learn what customers look for and how to properly position a product or service to maximize customer satisfaction.

Open to all students except those majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or pursuing the International Logistics certificate. In today’s global economy, most organizations require the movement of information, products, materials, and personnel to fulfill organizational goals and to provide for the communities served. This movement of human, physical, and informational capital involves logistics and supply chain management.

Open to all students except those majoring in Marketing, pursuing the certificate in Sales and Customer Relationship Management and fully online students. More than half of college graduates from a wide variety of backgrounds enter sales as a career – the job opportunities far outnumber those in any other area. Recruiters across all industries seek students with skills in communication, negotiations, closing and service. The Professional Sales minor prepares students of all academic majors with real-world, specialized training in today’s top-demand skills.

The Project Management minor prepares students of all academic majors with real-world, specialized training in today’s top-demand skills.

Open to all students except those majoring in Marketing or pursuing the certificate in Social Media and Digital Marketing Analytics. E-marketing and social media revolutionized the way companies, organizations, and individuals do business. The Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics minor prepares students from all majors to utilize social media and e-marketing to engage customers, communicate and deliver value, enhance skills needed to gain meaningful employment, and apply analytical tools for better decision-making with respect to social media and online marketing.

The Certificate in Banking is designed for practicing bank managers and bank employees, as well as those who simply want to earn a certificate while pursuing an academic degree. The core program consists of four undergraduate finance courses.

This Certificate in Entrepreneurship is designed to offer business students the opportunity to complement their major field of study with an additional concentration in entrepreneurship. With this background in addition to a major field, students can gain the knowledge and skills needed to assess new enterprise opportunities, obtain financial resources, market and start new ventures, and manage entrepreneurial ventures for growth and profitability. 

The Certificate in Esports Marketing is designed to enhance a student’s knowledge and skills in marketing for esports, one of the fastest-growing segments within sports and entertainment, and to address a skills gap within the industry. Students from any major or background will benefit from enhancing their marketing skills and knowledge, participating in experiential learning activities, and engaging with industry professionals.

The Certificate in International Bank Management is designed to train current and future bankers in the field of international banking policies and practices. It provides current banking professionals with an understanding of the interrelationships between domestic and international banking.

The Certificate in International Logistics offered by the Department of Marketing is open to all FIU degree-seeking undergraduate students, regardless of major. The program is designed to offer students the opportunity to complement their major field of study with an additional concentration in Import-Export and Supply Chain Management.

The International Trade and Investment Certificate is designed for students who want to develop expertise in the international movement of goods and services and the operation of commercial enterprises in foreign locations. Students completing this certificate will gain knowledge in the import and export function, assessing risk in international markets, as well as the nature of foreign direct investment.

This certificate program offered by the Department of Marketing is open to all FIU degree-seeking undergraduate students, regardless of major. The Certificate in Marketing Research and Analysis is designed to offer students the opportunity to complement their major field of study with an additional concentration in Marketing Research and Analysis.

The Certificate in Team Management is an academic certificate designed for students who want a strong foundation in team management. The certificate focuses on interpersonal group dynamics, organizational behavior, managerial principles, team processes and structure, plus team leadership.

The Certificate in Social Media and Digital Marketing Analytics offered by the Department of Marketing is open to all FIU degree-seeking undergraduate students and is designed to offer you the opportunity to complement your major field of study with an additional concentration in Social Media and Digital Marketing Analytics.

The Global Business Ambassadors program attracts highly motivated, focused, and intellectually curious students who have a global perspective. The program provides the opportunity for future leaders in the world economy to develop a global business skill set through international study, travel, and work experiences.
