Alberto Marrero Diaz received his Bachelor of Business Administration at HIM Montreux in Switzerland in addition to an MBA in Sports Management in Lausanne, Switzerland. His career began at Atletico de Madrid in 2010, where he served in the Law & Sports Department until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as the Sporting Director at Atletico Kolkata in India and Racing Club de Lens from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, he served as the CEO of Atletico San Luis, the franchise team of Atletico de Madrid in Mexico.
