Greg Chavarria, MSMIS, PMP, ITIL V3
Greg Chavarria is a skilled speaker, trainer, facilitator and coach with a passion for helping others improve their project management capabilities. For more than 12 years, he has trained various clients across the globe by delivering courses that are aimed to strengthen project management skillsets, leverage performance, lead teams, and advance collaboration.
Greg has worked with various Fortune 500 clients, within numerous verticals, including technology, hospitality management, health care, public sector, public safety, and construction.
Parallel to serving as adjunct faculty for FIU, Greg has held various leadership roles in the public sector and served as chief information officer for four local government agencies. As an innovator, he is eager to assist others maximize potential and explore the possibilities that project management offers.
Throughout his career, he has been able to streamline operations and implement smart technology capabilities with strategic industry partners. One of the most notable projects that Greg has led includes the Miami International Airport Security Systems Project completed in 2012. This $16M+ project was achieved by integrating smart IP surveillance technologies coupled with advanced video analytics and secure wireless iOT sensors within a 24-month period.
Innovation, smart technology and bringing forth new communication strategies for professionals are some of Greg’s passion. He looks forward to helping others and coaching professionals reach new heights of performance delivery.
Education and Certifications
Currently, Greg is pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree with focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Greg holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from FIU and a dual engineering degree in environmental and civil engineering from the University of Miami. He has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006. He also earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) industry certification.
Joe Cardiello
Joe Cardiello has been with Dale Carnegie Training for nearly 20 years. In that time, he has lived and worked in four locations (NYC, Hawaii, South Florida, and Jamaica), and has been responsible for developing trainers, maintaining trainer quality, and designing and delivering training to a wide range of corporate clients. Some current and past clients include Google, Microsoft, Indeed, Continental AG, Experian, Luxottica, Sagaicor and multiple federal and local government agencies across the United States and Jamaica.
Currently, Cardiello is the head leadership trainer working with Continental in its North American locations. Both before joining Dale Carnegie, and simultaneously during his first 10 years with the company, Cardiello owned and ran a garment manufacturing and importing firm based in New York City for 19 years. Clients included Walmart, Kohls, Sears and Chico’s.
Cardiello combines his business leadership experience with his long-standing training experience to deliver powerful programs, primarily focused on sales, leadership, and presentation skills. Cardiello has a BBA in marketing from Hofstra University in New York.
