Ramses Maldonado, PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2

Ramses Maldonado has more than 21 years of hands-on experience as a senior Project manager and Program manager responsible for business case, planning, design and implementation of large scale technology projects for Fortune 500 companies in the United States and globally. He currently serves as the President for the South Florida Project Management Institute Board of Directors and has serves as director for more than 7 years.

Maldonado is the founder and President of Wireless & IP Technologies (WIT), a company focused on the design and implementation of Internet of Things and machine-to-machine technologies and integrating them with strategic IP technologies, such as IP surveillance and Video analytics.

Maldonado has been directly responsible for managing budgets, scope, timelines and multi-functional, multicultural teams, both virtually and collocated.

Prior to starting his business, Maldonado was a Senior Project manager at Verizon Business. For 15 years, he worked in multiple project management roles at the company as a senior project manager responsible for software development projects, speech recognition initiative and enterprise wide Voice Over IP technologies for both call centers and office buildings, in a variety of industry sectors including private/public companies, Government and Healthcare. Maldonado was also involved in the creation and implementation of the Strategic Program Management Office (SPMO) that oversaw large scale project portfolios at Verizon.

Today, he works empowering businesses with the tools to remotely monitor, control and manage the performance of their operational assets through a web-based portal solutions.

Maldonado earned a master’s in Project Management from the George Washington School of Business and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He also earned a master certificates in e-commerce and e-business from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional), with formal training in ITILv3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and PRINCE2, Agile Project Management.


Greg ChavarriaGreg Chavarria, MSMIS, PMP, ITIL V3

Greg Chavarria is a skilled speaker, trainer, facilitator and coach with a passion for helping others improve their project management capabilities.  For more than 12 years, he has trained various clients across the globe by delivering courses that are aimed to strengthen project management skillsets, leverage performance, lead teams, and advance collaboration.

Greg has worked with various Fortune 500 clients, within numerous verticals, including technology, hospitality management, health care, public sector, public safety, and construction.

Parallel to serving as adjunct faculty for FIU, Greg has held various leadership roles in the public sector and served as chief information officer for four local government agencies.  As an innovator, he is eager to assist others maximize potential and explore the possibilities that project management offers.

Throughout his career, he has been able to streamline operations and implement smart technology capabilities with strategic industry partners. One of the most notable projects that Greg has led includes the Miami International Airport Security Systems Project completed in 2012. This $16M+ project was achieved by integrating smart IP surveillance technologies coupled with advanced video analytics and secure wireless iOT sensors within a 24-month period.

Innovation, smart technology and bringing forth new communication strategies for professionals are some of Greg’s passion.  He looks forward to helping others and coaching professionals reach new heights of performance delivery.

Education and Certifications

Currently, Greg is pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree with focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Greg holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from FIU and a dual engineering degree in environmental and civil engineering from the University of Miami.  He has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006. He also earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) industry certification.  


Jason S Dinter, PMP, MS, MA, CSM

Mr. Dinter has experience in project management, strategic planning, client services, and hardware and software product implementation across a wide variety of industries. A few of these industries include financial services, telecommunications, defense, and TV/satellite broadcasting. His experience includes working in project management for Fortune 500 companies, consulting product implementation for large organizations, and providing strategic direction as a management advisor to the CIO of the U.S. Air Force in the Pentagon.

Additionally, he has Professional Academic experience as an adjunct faculty member of Departments of Communication, Information Technology, and Business at George Mason University, Broward County Community College, Florida Career College, and Barry University.

Mr. Dinter has dual Masters Degrees in Information Systems (M.S.) and International Communication (M.A.), from American University in Washington, DC. He received his Bachelor's Degree from George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA, and is a Certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.


Ruth Elswick, PMP

In addition to teaching the PM College curriculum, Ruth Elswick contributes her extensive project management experience in course development and instructor mentoring.

Ms. Elswick brings an abundance of experience to the area of project management, both as a practitioner and educator.  She gained her project management experience working within FDA-regulated industries and has held various project management positions for major pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organizations. In her current position as a Senior Instructor for PM College, a project management training company, Ms. Elswick is responsible for much of the design, development, and delivery of an extensive project management curriculum.  Prior to joining PM College, she was President of Elswick Project Management, Inc., performing consulting and training services for Fortune 500 companies, such as Baxter Healthcare, Dade International, Warner Wellcome, IBM, Motorola, AT&T, and UPS. Ms. Elswick holds a Bachelor of Arts, from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s Degree, from East Carolina University.
