How Do I Pay For My Classes

Prior to the payment deadline (the first day of classes), you will need to accept your Financial Aid award at my.fiu.edu. Follow the "Financial Aid - accept/decline awards" link to ensure that your award is posted as "pending financial aid" for a tuition deferment.

Tuition may be paid online with a credit card or electronic check/electronic transfer of funds through the "Make a Payment" link found under the "Finances" section of your my.fiu.edu. You can also pay by cash or check at the Student Financials Office in the Student Academic Success Center (SASC), room 101 (MMC), or AC1 140 (BBC). Self-service payment kiosks are also located in SASC.

You can also pay your tuition over time in installments with a payment plan. The FIU Installment Payment Plans are only available through your MyFIU student portal- my.fiu.edu.

Wire transfer payments: FIU has partnered with Flywire to offer a streamlined and cost-effective payment method to send international payments. Therefore, we ask you to send all bank transfer payments through Flywire.

MSM Merit Scholarship

As funding resources permit, the MSM program offers scholarships to recently admitted students based on a set of criteria that includes general work experience (type, nature, and amount), marketing-related experience (type, nature, and amount), undergraduate academic performance, upper-division undergraduate GPA (UG60)*, previous graduate degrees and performance (if applicable), scholarship essays, and other relevant factors.

To be considered for this scholarship award, students must submit an application, essay, and professional resume. Scholarships are awarded after consideration by the scholarship committee once all factors of your application are reviewed. Not all scholarships may be awarded. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not automatically result in a student receiving the scholarship. The availability of funds and the number of qualified applicants may also affect the number and dollar amount of scholarships awarded.

  • The scholarship award amount will be divided across the number of semesters the student is in the MSM program.

  • Starting in fall 2023, merit scholarships will only be awarded at the start of each cohort/program. Applications submitted after the start of the cohort/program will not be considered.

*UG60: the GPA calculation of upper-division coursework earned during bachelor's degree. The UG60 is calculated by the FIU, College of Business Admissions Office upon receipt of bachelor's degree transcripts and proof of degree.

Students must remain in good academic standing within the program (3.0 GPA or higher) in order to continue to receive scholarship funds.

Application Deadlines

  • Fall Admission - August 1
  • Spring Admission - December 12
