Luis Yanes

LUIS YANES is the Founder and CEO of KBIS Capital.  Mr. Yanes is a Real Estate investor with an extensive experience in Real Estate investment in the US and Latin America.  Since 2012 Mr. Yanes has been focused as a Real Estate Investor in the US. He also founded and managed a Real Estate development company in Latin America, which between 2007 and 2013, was mainly focused on Multifamily developments and built more than twenty-five hundred units during that time.

Before his concentration  in Real Estate, Mr. Yanes co-founded and managed  a  successful EPC Contractor, Y&V Engineering and Construction, executing  large industrial and infrastructure projects in Latin America, Canada, and USA. Under Mr. Yanes co-leadership, Y&V executed large projects and consolidated a world-class engineering and construction company with more than one thousand employees.

Mr. Yanes is the President and co-founder of ALSI Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the education of the young population in need in Latin America. An active member of  YPO, Tiger 21, and Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Mr. Yanes received a BSc. In Civil Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana;  MSc. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University;  Engineering Degree in Structural Engineering and Construction Management from Stanford University; a Diploma of the Advanced Management Program from  IESA, and also graduated from the OPM – Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
