Jacob "Jake" Levin has been the Managing Partner of Stackhouse Capital for 5 years. Stackhouse is a family office-backed real estate investment and advisory firm that seeks to invest in Co-General Partner or Preferred Equity opportunities. The firm also provides small balance mezzanine and bridge loans on core plus or opportunistic properties. Recently, the company was the co-GP on an 1,113 unit Class B value add multifamily portfolio that was purchased for $120mm. Stackhouse introduced the Limited Partner to the transaction through a personal relationship, who invested over $45mm into the deal. Prior to Stackhouse, Mr. Levin worked for a multibillion dollar family where he successfully closed the largest New Market Tax Credit in Florida’s history ($56mm) and co-founded one of the first Regional Centers in the state of Florida, which then raised $20mm of EB-5 investor capital. Prior to that he was a commercial loan originator and underwriter where he closed approximately $2 billion of CMBS loans.

Mr. Levin received his B.A. from Princeton University, where he was a varsity athlete, an elected member of the undergraduate student government, and ran a successful water cooler business. He later earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Finance and was on the Dean’s list. While at Wharton, he also completed two semesters abroad in Sydney, Australia (AGSM) and in Queenstown, Singapore (INSEAD). He is actively involved in various charitable organizations including the Chapman Partnership for the Homeless and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
