International MBA

Congratulations and welcome to the Panther family! Follow the checklist to confirm your acceptance to FIU. We can't wait to have you here.

1. Confirm your seat

In-state students: In order to reserve your space, you will need to sign the documents on step two as well as sign the IMBA Acceptance form.

Out-of-state and international students: In order to reserve your space, you will need to submit a $200 (non-refundable) admission deposit within 2 weeks of your admission letter.

2. Complete important program documents

Student Enrollment Terms and Conditions and the Photography Consent Form must be signed prior to orientation.

3. Apply for Financial Aid (U.S. students only)

Reuse your FSA ID every year.

IMPORTANT

Students who have been admitted and completed their FAFSA application will be offered Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans. Graduate students may borrow up to a maximum of $20,500 per academic year through the Federal Direct Loan program. The actual amount a student is eligible to borrow cannot exceed the program cost of attendance, minus any other assistance received.

For additional information regarding Financial Aid, please visit https://business.fiu.edu/graduate/international-mba/financial-aid.cfm

4. Finalize Your Admissions File

Your acceptance to FIU is based on the academic information that was available when the Admissions Office reviewed your application. You may have been admitted with courses in progress or unofficial test scores. Therefore, it is important that you submit official documents prior to the end of your first semester.

Residency documents: If you are seeking in-state tuition you must submit your proof of residency. Learn how to establish residency here: https://onestop.fiu.edu/student-records-myfiu/personal-records/declare-residency/

5. Submit Your Immunizations Records

As a prerequisite to registration, FIU requires all students comply with the following immunization policy regulations from the Florida Board of Governors regarding immunity of Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Meningitis.

Download all immunization forms at https://dasa.fiu.edu/student-support/wellness/immunization-insurance/immunization/index.html. All forms must be signed and stamped by a physician (M.D. or D.O.), a nurse practitioner or a registered nurse and can be mailed, faxed or physically submitted to Student Health Services at your scheduled orientation date.

When emailing your form, please send it to immune@fiu.edu.

6. Purchase medical insurance (international students only)

The medical insurance requirement can be met in one of two ways:

Please email receipt of insurance to insure@fiu.edu. This will help get the insurance hold removed from your account.
