Curriculum
Our accelerated Master of Accounting program assures you a high-caliber curriculum that: (1) reflects the most current knowledge in the field and (2) spans a full range of practical applications needed to manage the growing challenges of your profession.
- This Master of Accounting program requires 30 credit hours of course work, (comprising two courses per eight-week session) spanning 10 months.
Your curriculum is expected to include:

- ACG 6225 Value Added Accounting Practices
- ACG 6455 Accounting Information Systems Technology, Control & Audit
- ACG 6257 Global Accounting, Auditing, Financial Strategy
- ACG 6176 Business Analysis and Valuation
- ACG 6385 Advanced Managerial Accounting
- ACG 6506 Governmental Accounting
*Curriculum is based on the growing challenges of the industry. Course substitutions are at the discretion of the Director, School of Accounting. FIU’s graduate accounting programs satisfy the 30 semester hours beyond a Bachelor’s degree required for CPA licensure.
