Ivy Factory

A New Platform and Accelerator
to Power the Next Generation of Student Startups

Ivy Factory, a first-of-its-kind platform and accelerator initiative designed specifically for students who are ready to transform their entrepreneurial ideas into real-world ventures.

This platform-enabled accelerator has been shaped by founders who are professors at top institutions like UC Berkeley, IE Business School, Babson College and Stanford. Now, FIU students have a chance to be a part of its first pilot program.

What Is Ivy Factory?

Ivy Factory is more than an accelerator; it’s a digital entrepreneurship platform combined with a structured program for students who want to start a business and become entrepreneurs. Whether you have a fully formed concept or are still exploring a new business idea, Ivy Factory offers a clear roadmap from idea to market launch.

At its core, the Ivy Factory platform streamlines the startup journey with AI-powered tools that take care of the heavy lifting—like market research, pitch deck creation, and financial projections—so students can focus on building and testing their ideas. Mentorship is woven throughout the program to bring the critical human element of feedback and guidance.

The Ivy Factory platform is built to guide students step-by-step, taking ideas from early-stage concepts to market-ready ventures.

Key benefits include:

  • Structured Pipeline: A clear roadmap from idea development to market launch.
  • Early-Stage Support: Designed for students beginning their entrepreneurial journey.
  • Mentorship Touchpoints: Access to experienced mentors who bring the human element of guidance and feedback.
  • Industry Expertise: Opportunities to refine ideas with input from seasoned entrepreneurs across sectors.
  • AI Tools: Built-in resources for market research, pitch deck design, and other critical startup needs to save time on the busy work.
  • FIU Venture Day: A pitch competition where participants present in person to a panel of judges comprised of key people in the Miami entrepreneurship ecosystem including investors and venture capitalists.

The program’s duration is 3.5 months and serves as a pilot initiative at FIU, helping to address the gap in structured entrepreneurial support for students.
