“Tell me and I forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin

Experiential learning is the pedagogical philosophy of the program. This approach employs interactive exercises that promote the development of creative and effective strategies, individually and in small groups. By participating in hands-on activities, individuals will apply recently learned information and master the concepts. Furthermore, the skills learned during the activities become more easily transferrable to the workplace. Recently, neuroscientists have shown through fMRI studies that experiential learning is among the most effective learning tools. Individuals who have participated in experiential learning exercises have strengthened neural connections that exist long after the activity.
