Tomás Gutiérrez
With a Bachelor of Business Administration (specializing in Finance) from the University of La Laguna, Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), he also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from IE Business School, a Master in Corporate Finance and Private Banking (MCF) by the Institute of Market Studies (IEB), belonging to the Madrid Stock Exchange and a Master in Banking and Finance (MBF) by the School of Applied Finance (AFI).
Since 2007 he is Managing Partner of Mergers and Acquisitions of the company Nova Capital Mergers and Acquisitions SL.
From 2009 to 2011 he was the CFO and Deputy Managing Director of Hispania Racing F1 Team HRT F1 Team (First Spanish Formula 1 team in history).
He has more than 29 years of teaching experience in different Universities and Business Schools like IE Business School, Deusto Business School, EOI, CEU San Pablo Business School, etc. He has been teaching in the different MBA programs of the Escuela Universitaria del Real Madrid since 2013.
Professor Gutiérrez also holds the UEFA PRO A (level 3) coaching license (maximum level of certification for a coach in UEFA), having coached up to third division teams in Spanish football.
He has also been collaborating in recent years with Mediapro and La Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) in a big data and business intelligence project to improve the usability and predicting power of Mediacoach, the official software of La Liga for coaching staffs in first and second football Spanish Division.
