Undergraduate and Graduate Programs Earn Top Rankings

The undergraduate international business program at FIU Business has been ranked No. 2 by U.S. News & World Report in its latest rankings, released in September 2023. Joining FIU Business in the top five are some of the world's leading universities, including Georgetown University, New York University and the University of Pennsylvania. This is the fifth consecutive year the FIU Business program has been ranked No. 2 and the 10th consecutive year the program has been ranked in the top 10.

At the graduate level, the FIU Business International MBA program was ranked No. 4 in the U.S. News graduate program rankings, released in April 2023. Up from No. 5 last year, FIU Business earned a top spot ranking among Ivy-league institutions in the top five, including Harvard University, Georgetown University and Columbia University.

Both of the U.S. News rankings are based on each of the schools' reputation for excellence in international business. With its location in Miami, one of the world's leading international business centers, FIU Business offers unmatched opportunities for students to prepare for success in today's global marketplace. Students and faculty at FIU Business come from 140 countries.

Also at the graduate level, the Professional MBA for Executives (EMBA) program at FIU Business was ranked No. 23 among U.S. executive MBA programs by the QS World University Rankings in July 2023. The QS rankings, recognized among the most widely watched international university rankings, place the FIU Business program as the top-ranked executive MBA program in Florida. The QS rankings combine input from thought leaders in business and management with the perceptions of global employers who recruit from the world's best EMBA programs. Other rankings indicators include the average years of work experience, managerial experience and C-suite experience of students; salary increase after graduation; percentage of students promoted within a year of graduation; and representation of women within the class cohort and number of nationalities among a program's students.
