The official conference hotel for the 11th Annual Engaged Management Scholarship Conference is EAST Miami. This amazing property is located in the heart of Miami’s Brickell City Centre shopping district and provides immediate access to fantastic shopping, breathtaking views, Miami’s magnificent beaches, and the world-renowned Miami nightlife! Transportation to and from the conference site on FIU’s campus and EAST Miami will be provided throughout the day and both public and ride-share transportation is available as simply as walking out the front door of the hotel.

ARRIVING BY AIR
If you are traveling by air to EMS2021, you can arrive at either Miami International Airport (MIA; 15 minutes from the conference hotel) or Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL; 45 minutes from the conference hotel).
Miami International Airport is the main gateway into the United States for people arriving from the Caribbean and South and Central America. MIA also has the most international connections to other parts of the world, whereas Fort Lauderdale Airport concentrates more on domestic flights and is home to low-cost carrier Spirit. For most EMS2021 attendees, MIA is the better choice.
ARRIVING BY CAR
If you are driving to EMS2021, the conference hotel is located just off Interstate 95. Take Exit 1B toward US-41/Brickell Avenue/SW 8th Street. Turn right onto SW 8th Street/Carlos Arboleya Blvd/Tamiami Trail. Continue to follow 8th Street. EAST Miami will be on your left in approximately one-half mile. Valet is accessed in front of the hotel when checking in.
