When applying to the Master of Science in Human Resource Management program, be sure to submit your application materials to the MSHRM Program Office, even though you are applying online using the university’s graduate online application form.  Doing so will expedite your application process.

Application Deadlines


January Class (Spring Admission)

September 1

Last day for international students to submit a graduate application

October 1

Last day for international students to submit all supporting academic credentials, appropriate test scores, and Declaration of Finances. Last day for U.S. applicants to submit a graduate application and supporting credentials

 

 

August class (Fall Admission)

July 1st is the last day for all students to submit online application, and all supporting academic credentials, appropriate test scores, and Declaration and Certification of Finances.

All credentials must be received by the deadline dates to be considered for the desired term. There is no guarantee of admission for the desired term if credentials arrive after the posted dates.

Application Process

To apply to our one-year Master of Science in Human Resource Management program, please:

1. Complete the graduate application for admission, along with nonrefundable application fee of $30.00 in US dollars. Applications can be completed at http://gradschool.fiu.edu/admissions.html.

2.  Have official transcripts, proof of degree, relevant test scores, including GMAT or GRE, and other documentation sent to the MSHRM Program Office.

3.  Submit a current resume of professional experience to the MSHRM Program Office.

4. Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from employers, faculty or professional associates. There is not a specific format or form required.  As will other materials, send to the MSHRM Program Office.

5.  Submit a statement of purpose: a one-page essay describing your professional goals and reasons for pursuing a master’s degree in human resource management at Florida International University to the MSHRM Program Office.
