General Information:

Graduate scholarships are designated for qualified students seeking their MBA and Master's Degrees in the College of Business Administration. Specific selection criteria and award amounts vary per scholarship. See Below:

Assurant Group Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students that meet the following criteria:

1. Full-time graduate student in Business
2. Minimum 3.0 GPA

1. Graduate student
2. Enrolled in the Accounting, Finance, or Management Masters Program

3. Preference to Financially needy student

This scholarship is available to students that meet the following criteria:

1. Graduate student in Insurance/Marketing program
2. Minimum 3.0 GPA
3. Financially needy per FAFSA form

This scholarship is available to a student who meets the following criteria:

1. Graduate student in MACC program, or in the MBA program with a concentration in Accounting
2. Miami-Dade or Broward County resident
3. Minimum overall 3.2 GPA, Minimum 3.0 GPA in accounting courses

This scholarship is available to one student that meets the following criteria:

1. Graduate student enrolled in Evening MBA
2. Minimum of 12 graduate credits
3. Minimum 3.0 GPA
4. Registered for REE 6935, and have received a “B” or higher.

4. Must have taken courses in the Biscayne Bay Campus.

William G. McGowan Scholarship

This scholarship is available to one student that meets the following criteria:

1. Graduate student
2. Must submit an essay of 1,000 words or more on the contributions of William G. McGowan to today’s business world in general, and to the telecommunications field in particular
3. Must submit an essay (no word count minimum) that clearly demonstrates the student’s potential and aspirations to transfer their academic knowledge into today’s business world
4. Note: essays must be in standard American Psychological Association (APA) format, with a minimum of four references cited.  The essays should be submitted electronically and in printed copy
5. Must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
6. Involved in academic, campus and community activities.
7. Have entrepreneurial potential
8. Recommended by at least one member of the College of Business faculty
9. Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
10. Preference will be given to Non resident, residents may apply

**This scholarship shall not exceed the award amount of $18,000. It is to cover the costs of basic tuition alone and may not exceed total tuition amount.

OPS Scholarship Policy for College of Business employees

The Chapman Graduate School of Business has created an OPS Scholarship Policy for College of Business employees.  Below are the requirements that an OPS employee must complete in order to qualify for the scholarship:

1. The employee must meet be admitted as a degree-seeking graduate student to a graduate program of his/her choice and surpass the minimum criteria of a GMAT score of 500 "and" GPA of 3.0. The Executive Master in Business Administration program is excluded from this arrangement.
2. The employee must have completed six (6) months of continuous service with a minimum of 30 hours per week during this period.
3. The employee must have full support from his/her Department/Unit Head.
