  • The program admits students every fall term only. To be eligible for admission to the Executive MBA Program in the Chapman Graduate School, students must:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
  • Have a minimum upper division grade point average (GPA) of 3.0;
  • Demonstrate at least eight years of professional work experience, with five of those in management;
  • Graduate student applicants whose studies were completed outside of the US must demonstrate proficiency of the English language by presenting a minimum score of 80 on the iBT TOEFL (equivalent to 550 on the paper-based version) or 6.5 overall on the International English Language Testing System (IETLS).   • Provide two letters of recommendation from professional contacts;
  • Provide a personal statement on the motivation to attend the program, including personal and career goals;
  • Complete a personal interview with one of the faculty advisors and the director of the EMBA program;
  • Be in good standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities;
  • For international students, have submitted the following documents: Declaration of Certification of Finances (DCF), a bank letter, a sponsor letter, if applicable, and an F-1 transfer if they already have an F-1 Visa.

Admissions at the graduate level are competitive and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Although the GMAT is not required for this program, you may be asked to take it to strengthen your admission package.
