Crisis and Emergency Response Management
Crisis and Emergency Response Management
In Miami we have witnessed and been tested by a number of serious crises in recent years. Smart organizations have realized that they must have a carefully planned emergency response strategy to protect their people and their operations. Companies without such a plan are risking their business and their reputation.
FIU's Crisis and Emergency Response Management program trains managers to develop their organization's emergency preparations and crisis response. Participants learn how to plan for emergencies with appropriate organizational processes, contingency plans, and employee training. The program also focuses on how a crisis can impact public perceptions of the organization's brand, image, and financial reputation.

Highlights
This program is about more than keeping your business operational during natural and man-made disasters. Having an emergency response plan is a litmus test for a mature organization. Such a company is more likely to survive a crisis with its operations intact, while protecting its image and reputation.
Our program gives you the background you'll need to consider the many consequences of a disaster and how best to avert potential damage. With our region's history and the potential for dangerous situations occurring during the workday, it is mandatory for you and your organizations to plan for potential emergencies.
