The purpose of the Business Alumni Chapter is to help establish relationships amongst the alumni and to solidify those bonds for the benefit of the FIU family. Each relationship can bring a new perspective in developing innovative ideas that reinforce the mission of the Chapter: To promote FIU’s stature in the community and move forward the blue and gold spirit of the university. Our success depends on all of us, the alumni, by contributing monetarily and participating in our networking, professional development, and community service events.

As the newly appointed President of the Business Alumni Chapter, together with our highly motivated Executive Board, we intend to build on the achievements of our predecessors. We will continue to organize events that generate increased participation and grow the membership. The Chapter is energized and committed to be a part of a Business School that not only is growing structurally with new buildings, but also in national and international recognition.

Over the previous years, the Business Alumni Chapter has hosted various events thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors. We want to particularly recognize Deloitte, Progressive Insurance, Southern Vines, Inc, Appelrouth, Farah & Co., University Credit Union, Aviation Express and Stephen James Associates formerly known as Kramer Professional Staffing. We are grateful for their generous support and encourage other members of the South Florida business community to get involve.

We are thankful as well to several organizations and individuals whose alliance with the FIU Business Alumni Chapter has been instrumental in our endeavors: YUPA!, Next in Line, and Beta Alpha Psi. The Chapter welcomes their cooperation and seeks additional alliances.

Our pledge to the membership is to deliver events that are captivating, enlightening, and above all, conducive to networking in an enjoyable environment for our fellow professionals in all fields and industries.
