Top Undergraduate and Graduate Program Rankings

The undergraduate international business program at FIU Business has been ranked No. 2 in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report for the sixth consecutive year. Joining FIU Business in the top 10 are some of the world's leading universities, including Georgetown University, New York University and the University of Pennsylvania.

"This latest ranking shows that FIU Business has secured its position at the top when it comes to international business education and research," said William Hardin, dean of FIU Business. "It also shows that we are doing an excellent job of preparing students to lead in a world where all business is global."

The rankings, released in September 2024, place the FIU Business undergraduate business program at No. 76 overall among public business school programs.

FIU Business has built a strong reputation for international business education and research. In April 2025, its International MBA program was ranked No. 5 in the U.S. by U.S. News.

Also in September 2024, the FIU Business MBA and specialized master's programs earned top spots in the , one of the most closely watched international university rankings. The full-time International MBA program was ranked No. 51 in the U.S. and No. 21 among U.S. public MBA programs.

Four of the FIU Business specialized master's programs also received top rankings. The Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management was ranked No. 6 in the U.S. The Master of Science in Marketing was ranked No. 10 in the U.S. The Master of Science in Information Systems was ranked No. 22 and the Master of Science in Finance was ranked No. 26 in the U.S.

The QS World University Rankings are based on a survey of employers who select schools they prefer to hire from, as well as a survey of professors and other academics who name schools which they believe are the strongest in each subject area. Other ranking factors include the 10-year return on investment for graduates, the academic reputation of the institution, and student and faculty diversity, among others.
